Over 150 people demonstrated their support for a SAFE WALKING and SAFE CYCLING access between Cross and Axbridge !!!

Over 150 people joined in the procession from the Axbridge Farmers Market, through West Street and Cross Lane to The New Inn at Cross.

The carnival atmosphere demonstrated the delight in showing public support for action to provide a safe route for walkers and cyclists between Axbridge and Cross - not forgetting that people from anywhere between Weare and Tarnock also cycle and walk to Axbridge to use the shops, chemist and post office.
